PlumbingInformationSite.com is a directory of plumbers and heating and cooling contractors, organized by state and county. Listings come from three places. Some are built from a business's federal USDOT registration, which means it holds a registration with the U.S. Department of Transportation for the trucks it runs. Others are built from a business's Google Business Profile, or from a state's list of the plumbing and heating and cooling businesses it licenses or registers. Every listing says which one it is, and a listing from another source shows its state license entry where one matched.

If you need a plumber or HVAC contractor

Pick your county and you'll see the contractors listed there, with their phone numbers. Where a contractor has enough Google reviews, we show its rating too. Or tell us the job, and a person here passes it to up to two contractors near you so they can get in touch.

A listing here isn't an endorsement. Before you hire anyone, ask for proof of insurance and check the license your state or town requires. Each state's rules page says what the state asks for and where to check a license.

If you run a plumbing or HVAC business

Your listing is free. If your business does plumbing, heating or cooling work it may already be here, and any listing can be claimed by the business it describes. Find yours from your county page, or search for it by name at claim your listing, and choose “Is this your business?”.

Where the listing comes from a USDOT registration, we send a code to the contact details on that registration. Where it comes from a Google Business Profile or a state license list there's no registration to send a code to, so you tell us how you're connected to the business and we check it by hand.
